The film was created to be frightening to a certain extent as to not scare the living daylights out of the young minds, but still spook them for a bit with an added mix of giggles. From the moment I pressed play, my daughter was intrigued. She found the Character Slappy's laugh to be extremely creepy and according to her "He sounds too real". Slappy is devious ventriloquist dummy who returns to run amuck, in this second installment of the family-friendly franchise based on R.L. Stine’s beloved book series. Many amazing cast members stand in Slappy's way of creating a perfect ending to his own story. Despite the craziness, I still found myself loving this creepy adorable villain of the movie.
The recently released Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital Bonus Materials Include:
*Gag Reel
*Three Deleted Scenes
*Five Featurettes:
* Three Slappy-Oke Sing-Alongs
Overall, the film is truly entertaining and really cool to just play on a lazy day or family movie night. Have you seen the film already? If so, Who was your favorite character?
*Five Featurettes:
- “Thrills & Chills – The Making of Goosebumps 2”
- “Meet The Monsters”
- “Science With Slappy”
- “Junk Brothers – Call Now”
- “Slappy's Audition”
* Three Slappy-Oke Sing-Alongs
