I like to do research prior to traveling somewhere new to see if there is something we should know beforehand, so I decided to give you 5 of my own tips to make your time in Costa Rica, an amazing experience!

We like to cook and bake a lot in my home. When baking a cake, we LOVE that freshly baked smell that lingers throughout the home all day. When I first saw the movie Dumbo, I was around 7 years old and boy did I cry! It was a film with so many emotions and some high-flying adventures and a touch of determination from the cutest Big-eared elephant I'd ever seen. 20  years later and Disney has brought on Dumbo into its Live-Action genre and it's wonderful!

We first heard of Wonder Park back in March when we were invited to a very intimate screening of the film. I wasn't too sure what to expect since I hadn't really looked into the movie beforehand, but it pleasantly surprised me. I laughed, was surprised, and even cried a little.

Let me get this out the way and tell you all that I have NEVER seen the movie Pretty Woman nor have I read the book, but I did know what it was about. When I was invited to see Pretty Woman: The Musical, I was super excited since I am a HUGE fan of any and all Broadway Theatre Shows. Though I usually bring my 6-year-old along to enjoy these shows, I remembered what I had read about the storyline, found it to be kind of inappropriate for children, and decided to bring my friend along instead.

If your household is like mine, then you're probably a cord-cutting family too! Many of you already know, but to my new readers, I'd like to tell you a bit about my kid. She's a spunky, intelligent, loveable kid who was born with a Bilateral Sensorineural hearing loss. Sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL) is a type of hearing loss, or deafness, in which the root cause lies in the inner ear or sensory organ (cochlea and associated structures) or the vestibulocochlear nerve (cranial nerve VIII). Bilateral just means it's in both ears. Now, this post isn't about her specific hearing loss... For the past year and a half, I've been taking my daughter to Broadway shows. Anytime we get an invite, we jump at the chance to experience an epic adventure through great performances, amazing visuals, and delightful singing! In 2015, Goosebumps made a big-screen debit which left many older fans excited.
