You never really catch me in Brooklyn, but the day was too beautiful to pass up a chance for my daughter and I to visit the Thomas Edison Nation Historical Park at the Brooklyn Bridge Park in Pier 1! We had a glorious day and what's better is that we got to celebrate it with The MOMs, fellow influencers and the public. Here's what we did and why you should make a visit.
Did you know that the National Park Service was created in 1916? They've given us a century of wide open spaces and incredibly breathtaking natural beauty. Many families enjoy these open outdoors daily because it's a free public space where can relax and it's usually not too far from home.
Afterwards we stopped by a few tables that some park rangers had set up with different activities for the kids and families. Gabby had fun creating Sand art necklaces with one of her #BloggerKid friends!
After the activities, it was time to dance with Ramblin' Dan and the Free Wheelin' Band! It's was a real live party. Kids and adults of all ages got up and danced their hearts out to the fine tunes. Jumping up and down the hills and not caring who sees. That's the liveness that Ramblin' Dan brings. Did I mention he's available for your kid's next Birthday party?
