The Holidays are upon us! It's my absolute favorite time of the year. In our Latin culture, We look forward to family get-together with Coquitos for the adults, Asopao, and Flan for desert! It's a time for tradiciones y nostalgia. Here are some Tips to get ready for the holiday season and the guests who shall be joining you.
Being a Family of procrastinators we tend to get the thanksgiving decorations up a week before Thanksgiving, put the tree up 2 weeks before Christmas, and REMOVE Christmas decorations in February. It's sad, yet hilarious because it happens every year. We have actually made bets as to how long mom will leave the decorations up, so here's our first Tip.
Tip 1: Make your home lively with Decor.
And Do This AHEAD of time. Just a few browns, oranges, yellows, greens, and blues for Thanksgiving. Or greens, red, and whites for Christmas.
Tip 2: Set Up Tissue Areas
Tip 3: Don't Forget The Children
Tip 4: HAVE FUN
It may sound like the easiest Tip in the world, but many people forget. You can get overwhelmed with trying to make everything perfect and you WILL lose your mind. It's your FAMILY! Yes, some DO Judge, but Family is Family (Familia es Familia). Irreplaceable even if you wish they were!
These are literally the Simplest tips I can possibly give to you that are actually effective. These simple tips allow you to have much more time to create beautiful new memories with your family, even if it's just an old tradition.

I love your tips and I wish that I had a BJ's near me because I would so take advantage of that 60 day membership. I had a membership until I moved to the West. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that BJ's make their way here. :)
