A few days ago, I was invited to meet with (FDNY Foundation Chairman) Stephen Ruzow, (FDNY Foundation Executive Director) Jean O’ Shea, (Fire Zone Director) Nerisha Rivero, and Lieutenant Mancusto (Fire Safety Spokesperson) at the FDNY Fire Zone. It was a time to learn all about fire safety and how to stay safe in this winter weather.
Also in attendance at the event were a few of the AccuWeather staff including Chief Executive Officer, Barry Lee Myers, (Chief Marketing Officer) John Dokes and Meteorologist, Laura Velasquez. We were going to hear all about being #AccuWeatherReady.
Here is a Family Preparedness Check List for you to be prepared for any emergency:
AccuWeather actually presented the FDNY Foundation with a check for $25,000 for all the incredible, courageous, hard work that they do each and every day. All of the AccuWeather Ready information is actually available on the 24/7 AccuWeather Network, AccuWeather Website and the AccuWeather app.
Are You #AccuWeatherReady?
